Sometimes i feel like giving up salsa.
Sometimes i feel like i will never improve, can never improve, and it's enough to send me spiraling into despair, that i should be doomed to mediocrity at something i love so much.
Sometimes, i fear that i shall tire of dancing, particularly if i can gain no joy of improvement, of dancing well.
Sometimes, sometimes...
I plan to bring a videocam to fiesta this fri... maybe watching myself afterwards would help me improve.

IN A DARK TIME, 1964
In a dark time, the eye begins to see,
I meet my shadow in the deepening shade;
I hear my echo in the echoing wood--
A lord of nature weeping to a tree.
I live between the heron and the wren,
Beasts of the hill and serpents of the den.
What’s madness but nobility of soul
