I can't believe today is my last day working at the Tampines back office... :P i'll definitely miss the place: the locale wonderful shopping malls n numerous eating places; the colleagues funning around in chinese; the one-hr journey to yio chu kang for driving... Haha, my colleagues really aRe quite funny! They're more open n loose than the corporate affairs ppl. Too bad all their jokes aren't in english or i could have participated more!! I do believe my chinese listening has improved though... lolx!
But when all is said and done, I'm thoroughly looking forward to going selegie~ Seriously, back-office, sit-down-and-stare-at-your-computer-doing-repetitive-work, is sooo not me. I need more human interaction! I'm maybe warming up to my colleagues, but what little en site gossip there is at the moment shall likely dry away next week, when the bigger boss moves in, haha. Oh well, at least i won't be here to see it :P

Wow i drove an auto car for the first time EVER today!! It's so utterly different from manual and i LOVE it! For once, I was actually able to see where I was going, notice my surroundings, watch the people and carried out a pleasant conversation with my instrutor... =) That in itself was amazing as, (1) I never notice where i'm going; (2) I'm far too busy concentrating on driving and following instructions without taking out the general population around me and (3) this was the most closed-mouthed of all my instrutors and i discovered he's a very genial and pleasant conversationalist!! Whew! After tonight, i realize just how much stress i am under everytime i drive manual... haha. That's it. I HAVE to pass my driving first time round so i can have fun driving in mummy's car!! hehheh...
I also had a chance to partake in one of my more interesting hobbies: people-watching. It's fascinating really, sitting back and observing Life swirling all around you... What are they saying behind those glass windows? A mother scolding her child? perhaps... A husband getting to know his wife? perhaps... Or maybe a single, contemplating on the lonesome solitude within the quietly whirring metal contraption of a car...... I can't help wondering, who are they? What has Life doled out for them and where are they heading this lightly drizzling night? Will i ever know if i meet you again? Singapore's only so big after all and our lives shall inevitably brush - once, twice - serendipitious strangers in the oh-so-shortsighted eyes of men. To me it's like a window into another's life, this brief glimpse that is all we're allowed to see. It's almost like a dream, where an image flashes through your mind, provoking thoughts and feelings uncontrolled; a forbidden snapshot that disintegrates within seconds, leaving strange fragments of memory behind. It's seems tantamount to an invasion of privacy... akin to spying, uninvited, on someone unawares. I mean, i know i'd feel uncomfortable and indignant if some stranger were to simply watch me with his brain let loose, his imagination colouring the pattern of my life with a Story made-believed by his shortlived impressioni of me alone... Won't you??
Still, it is unavoidable... To herd is to be human. If we were to strip humans of our so-called 'humanity' and reduce us to animals living in the wild, herding is the only way we could possibly stay alive, our strength in our exponentially increasing numbers. So inject back our humanity and pour in a dose of intelligence, we would naturally be curious about the millions of other 'pack-mates' with whom we co-exist. So we think of the world and the numerous shadowy people first, homo sapiens and bearers of the same species. Shrink that a little and you get race; which part of the world do you come from? Are you Asian or Caucasion or something else? Shrink that somemore and the faces become less vague, identifiable by country and ethnicity. More, and we wonder about those whom we meet in everday life... Touch and go, touch and go... literally. Then come the people we are closer to. No longer formless and vague but certain beings with their own lives that intertwine with ours for a time. Lastly, we become seperated by geneology and ancestry, where blood is ever thicker than water. Family: the sure fixtures in our everyday lives...
So I wonder and I dream, I imagine and I speculate. Yes, i have no right to do so; No, i cannot help but to do so. The world is convoluted and people make it more so. Time is a mystery and people try to make it less so. Life is what binds us all together, and people are what make it so.

Eddie's sick!!!!!!! :( :( :( poor poor thing... he sounded quite bad when i spoke to him, all weak and with a dry cough. I really hope there's someone at home to take care of him! And i hope he feels better soon.. :p
Well that means cha cha tonight is off :( was looking forward to it since sun so now i'm feeling a bit let down... haha. just goes to show tt i can't dance just one measily time a week!! ;p need something to sustain me till friday comes around! mmm... at least tt means i don't have to worry abt the which is worse thing.. haha. dang... nvm, look forward to this weekend!!!! it's a long wkend! yay!! can go brix! yay!! hahahaha. i hope ssc really meets up on mon! i wanna learn how to windsurf!! :D
And since i'm not going cha cha tonight, i'd get to see shaan, leanne n everyone else again :) :) haven't seen them in ages! really miss my adorable, cutie-pie cousins :P although i'm not sure how i feel abt seeing maee coz i KNOW tt mummy's SURE to bring up the issue of my rotation AGAIN and i feel... uncomfortable abt it in front of maee... =/ i hate taking advantage, even when forced to do so. Sigh...

oh no! i didn't bring my hp to work today!!!!! :( :( :( that is a sure sign of disaster - inability to keep awake the whole day.
LUCKILY, rui yun won't be around today ;D hehheh.. she's my manager(ie.boss), so perhaps i'll be able to otherwise occupy myself when i begin to fall asleep, haha. That prob means multiple inane blogposts today; thank you blog, for keeping me company =)

it's only been half an hr and i'm already suffering from handphone withdrawal!! My hands feel breft so the only other way to occupy it (when attempting to wake up) is to type! arrrrrrrhhh........ and i had so many ppl to msg today!! Porshee - to ask if he wants to msg entirely in spanish (haha); Cai Fong - to wish him happy birthday (HAPPY BIRTHDAY CF!!); Claire (fr salsa2 who msged me last night asking if i want to go union this fri) - to tell her i'm not sure yet n ask if she'd like to go Brix on sunday instead; Yong Kim - to tell him, yes, i am free this wkend, why; & Marcus, to ask if he received my bday card. Now i've resorted to simply listing them out on my blog... :( :(

Sunday night was really funny (before they left and i fell into gloom). Eddie had spent the entire day at the super mario workshop and he was absolutely fantastic! I swear, he improved tremendously at tt workshop coz i don't remember him doing all those coooolll moves the friday two days before :D being the super nice guy and budding teacher that he is, Eddie freely showed the guys what he learnt (ken n porshee seriously should have gone man), one of which was isolation. Eddie's basic is different frm Luther's in that Luther places more emphasis on the arms while Eddie, on the chest. Ken n porshee, naturally, tried to follow, with varying results. Somehow or other, they all ended up doing the shimmy, which was hilarious! Porshee can shimmy (more or less), but he absolutely cannot isolate his chest fr his hips... So everytime his chest shakes, his butt does too!!! *doubles over laughing* it was so cute! And kenneth... Kenneth was the ultimate! He could shake anything and everything! Non-stop!! He just went on shaking and shaking and shaking, it's like a new twist to that carlsberg advert where the ppl can't stop moving ;D Haha! Brenda was like, "he's gonna forget himself and start walking around like that." And i was just thinking that he could become a just for laughs performer! Like, attach bells to different parts of his body and play different songs!! hahahahahahaha... Ken, if you're reading this, here's a new musical hobby for u to take up. It's like a one-man version of the RGS bells choir (whatever it's called) *GRINZ* Delia was there throughout (for once!) and she can't wait for them to come back again so she can watch! =D

Suddenly, i don't feel like dancing anymore... I don't feel like going union, i don't feel like joining e comp... I feel empty and listless, born about in a fickle wind that refuses to bring me home.
I am not 'chio', beautiful, cute, sexy, attractive, sweet, intelligent, funny, pretty, athletic, slim, nor fit... So what am i? Sometimes, it seems like God's the only one who cares, which isn't all that special either since He cares for the 8 other billion people on earth.
And now i'm back at work.
Shut off, isolated and alone.
Not knowing, not doing, not feeling... I feel as if i'm trapped in a cocoon, suffocating and helpless, where everyone else can see me but i don't mean anything. I wonder what maee/mummy would do if i just quit now? If i just ran out, tear out of the building in a flurry of suppressed spirit? Would they kill me? No i'm already dead. Would they hurt me? No i'm already engulfed in pain.
Sometimes, I just want to get a rich husband. haha. But what would i do then? Would my life be meaningless as i turn into a fat tai-tai? *sees visions of a older, harried self swarming with uncontrollable kids* I just want a job which makes me happy where i can make other ppl happy as well... earn enough money to pay for books, housing, clothing, food and the courses i want to take; live cozily surrounded by family and friends... somehow, in all my imaginations of the future, i'm always living my myself in a cozy apartment. why is that??
Anyway, i'm more awake now (aft porshee msged "so you like him!" aft i msged him that i didn't! *roll eyes*). less gloomy and climbing out of the dumps :P hey! i realised... i've still got porshee and kenneth!! both of whom i'm totally comfortable with and like very much *grinz* perhaps one day aft lots of practice, they'd be as sexy as eddie n luther!! haha! who knows? =)

God has a plan for me, I know; but if my soulmate's in it, I don't know. It's so painful, watching love walk away... So i continue to wait... Bruised and lonely once more. Empty of feeling, drained of hope. But i can't stop waiting. No matter how much my feelings cry out, no, no more, please, i can't take it anymore!, my heart continues to yearn. I am incomplete but it is for a reason... Please God, don't let me be alone always! For I can only take so much.. Each time Love passes but leaves me be, I die a little and huddle miserably inside. And little by little, i shall wound, scar and wither, until there is no more and i have lost all love, all hope, all sweetness and joy...
So please... don't let me be alone.
