ArGhZ~!!!!!! Am supposed to compare this poem with two others of john donne's works...... =( sigh... dunno wat to do...... :P


LOVE'S GROWTH.

I SCARCE believe my love to be so pure

But if this medicine, love, which cures all sorrow

But as all else, being elemented too,

And yet no greater, but more eminent,
Love by the spring is grown ;
As in the firmament
Stars by the sun are not enlarged, but shown,
Gentle love deeds, as blossoms on a bough,
From love's awakened root do bud out now.

If, as in water stirr'd more circles be
Produced by one, love such additions take,
Those like so many spheres but one heaven make,
For they are all concentric unto thee ;
And though each spring do add to love new heat,
As princes do in times of action get
New taxes, and remit them not in peace,
No winter shall abate this spring’s increase.

Phew... i was REALLY tired today~ slept throughout council investiture, econs lec, maths lec, break n geog... basically i was only awake during gp n maths tutorial :P heez. yesterday's seasports was FUN and over too fast! :( we did the usual kayaking in the sea bit *goes rather green* but it was iviGoRaTinG for a change... -gRInZ- coz the sea was really choppy (wheeeeeeee~!!) and I DIDN'T GET SEA SICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D my theory is that when e sea is choppy, i concentrate too hard on actually moving forward n i dun go round i circles -sMilEz- so i dun get sea sick!! =) later, we had a guys against girls canoepolo match... i'm sure i dun need to say how THAT turned out~ lol :) it was fun tho!!!!! didn't join them for dinner (but walked to parkway to get a cab so bought milo n stole onion rings ;p) coz mummy had frenz over... i think i wasn't feeling very sane, coz after they left, i ran 3k on the threadmill... *faint* yeah... that's probably why i slept thru out today :P

And delia n i went for aikido tonight!!!! FINALLY!!!!!!!!! after like one n a half years of deprivation... -GRINZ- yepz, i miss aikido n our friends there, but i really suck at it now :P forgot eVeRytHinG~! really. mascaraded as a white belt too ;) heeheez!

Haha, n i'm going quiz crazy :P lit notebook n file check tmr n look at what i'm doing now...!! ;)

boo hoo hoo... :'( :'( :'( juz had maths lec test on ap.gp, summation, transformation, mathematical induction n functions =[ so sad... it was really quite terrible.. i dun think i did enuff questions to pass aniwae... sighz, stoopid maths test~ :P

got SO much homework lined up this week, will NV be able to finish it all!! Then there's GP common test next week, which i most certainly wOn'T pass...!! :-P haha, even the june holz is full, no time wHaTSOeVer to study for common tests aft the june holZ~ darnz... my life is quite screwed........ bleah.

Am in the library now, supposed to be doing chinese compo but guess what?, i dun understand the questions soooo.... ;) lol, will prob play pacman aft this n do some online quizzies :) haiz, got notthing better to do den all this lame stuff...... and cf dang naggy... bah! -kicks cf- *grinz*
