Oh man today was a CRAZY day!!! It was like a chicken house in the branch.. full of mad ppl running around trying not to bang into each other, some sitting down impatiently (like hens laying eggs) and others wondering in and out of the hen house adding to the general confusion... :P

Whew! Reason: It's the first day of SCB's new promotion... E-$avers!! It gives 1.88% p.a interest, with NO minimum deposit, NO min balance, NO fees and NO link-something-or-other. Everyone's interested! The only drawback is that u can only use the internet to access your money. No passbook, no atm card, no over-the-counter transactions.... Just I-banking. Which, come to think of it, is a GOOD thing considering tt the point of this a/c is to help u SAVE money..!! haha. ATM cards are simply TOO convenient... Draw a hundred bucks and chances are, u'd be broke by the end of the day and can't quite remember where all that money went. ;) lol!
