new job, or at least, new post... been here over a week now and it's tedium galore.
how much brains does one need to key stuff into the computer??
enough to power your fingers, eyes and processing.
very very very little
sheesh.
what a waste.
they have poly grads doing the same thing.
like why bother doing a degree/diploma if this is all life has in store for you!?
sighh..
too many grads, too few top level jobs..
what happened to economics??
perhaps the satisfaction gained from completing the course of study outweighs the cost.
and human 'shortsightedness' fails to properly weigh the future returns and future dissatisfaction against current costs involved.
which would be impossible anyway as we never know what we'd do in the future....
bleah.
am i really economics-ish??
pretty sure now tt i don't want to be a banker...

NUS is making us do 1200 word essays...
and they're scrapping CCA & community involvement by 2007...
how stupid!
just because the pearls system of counting how involved one is with cca really sucks (which stems fr the s'porean need to quantify even qualitative things), doesn't mean tt having compulsory CCA and taking it into consideration for entry into uni sucks...
same goes for comm service which they try to count via PEARLS as well.
sometimes i really wonder what the government is thinking...
